The Huguenot Cabaret

Every April, preparations for the Huguenot Presbyterian Church Cabaret fundraiser in Pelham provoked a collective giddiness and frenzy of anticipation in the extreme. The night of the performance was a highlight for much of the community.

I started participating in the Huguenot Cabaret as a friend of the church in 2001. Most often, I was part of a highly-choreographed, and carefully-costumed trio, popular for our zaniness. Occasionally, my involvement extended to the direction of some other group numbers.
